This time last year I was in Sabah, Northern Borneo, home to orangutans, monkeys, sunbears, clouded leopards, elephants and giant cave centipedes. If you’d have told me then that a year later I’d be largely confined to my home…I probably would have believed you. I’m really not that sociable. What I wouldn’t have believed, though, is that everyone else I knew (as well as millions I didn’t) would be too.
So, in an effort to stay upbeat, I’ve been raiding my memory and my photo collection from my travels. What’s funny is that I’d expected to leave Borneo with a collection of out of focus photos of wildlife, but in reality I left with a lot more (and arguably better) photos of street art.
