Shikoku Henro is a Buddhist pilgrimage situated on the island of Shikoku, Japan.

The 88-site circuit can be completed by pilgrims of any nationality or faith.

Or not completed at all!

Walking just a section is okay.

Temple sites are numbered, but you don’t have to travel in numerical order. You can start at 88 and wander widdershins.

No time to walk the spiritual path? Don’t stress about it.

You can always drive instead.
