It’s Christmas and that means only one thing: perfume commercials that perpetually depict women as unhinged lunatics.

A quick spritz and women are provoking fights with their lovers and jumping off piers…
Flinging themselves out of planes…
Hacking off their hair…
Having shared hallucinations with friends…
Driving erratically…
Riding motorcycles down stairs…
Riding horses up stairs…
Having involuntary facial spasms…
Freaking out in supermarkets:
And commiting felonies:
Do these commercials want me to buy perfume or “Just Say No”?

I simply hadn’t noticed.
Too funny 😂 I’ve seen a few of those ads on French TV and they’re just insane. Maybe all the fumes of the perfume has gone to the head?

You’re right, perfume commercials are insane! The funny thing is, I recognise all those adverts but had no idea they were about perfume until I read this poem, ha ha!
